Cosmetology Program

DESCRIPTION

1000 hours

Our beauty course combines theory with rich practical experience, so you have a comprehensive understanding of beauty and health. The plan includes haircuts, colors, textures, nail care, makeup applications, business development, retail awareness, and concepts for winning and retaining customers. Upon completion, students will receive intensive real-world training to hone their skills.

Length of Programs and Units Taught

Unit 1 – 800 hrs

Hair care: Cutting, styling, coloring, chemical textures, and related theory and application; business skills; professional development and salon management; health, safety; and laws.

Unit 2 – 100 hrs

Nail care: Manicuring and related theory and applications, business skills; professional development and salon management; health; safety; and laws.

Unit 3 – 100 hrs

Skin care: Facials, hair removal, and related theory and application; business skills; professional development and salon management; health, safety; and laws.
